Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Turin
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at Pioneer Primary School that will serve 272 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $440, and the remaining cost is $1,450.
It will serve about 272 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Materials: $640
• Permits and inspections: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $210
• Tools hire and delivery: $350

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ginevra
It's all in the list in the story. materials is the big one at $640, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
Hope things get better soon. Hope this works out for you. God bless
Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Suwon.
Sending love, Ginevra. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
You're not alone, Ginevra. I hope things turn around soon.
You're not alone. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
