Payouts
How the money you receive reaches you, how long it takes, and what we need from you.
How it works
Gifts collect on your page. Every Sunday we send what is available.
- Someone gives. The gift appears in your dashboard right away.
- It stays in a safety window: 3 days if you are ID verified, 14 days if not. This protects against card fraud and chargebacks.
- On Sunday, everything past its safety window is added up (after the 15% platform fee and the card processing fee) and sent to you.
- We email you a payout statement and keep a copy under Tax & payout in your dashboard.
Payouts go out every Sunday: automatically for owners with a connected Stripe account, and sent by our team for PayPal and bank transfer. If a Sunday falls on a public holiday, it goes the next working day.
Setting up to receive money
Save your payout details
Legal name, address and date of birth, under Tax & payout. You are asked for these once, when you first ask for money.Choose how to be paid
Under Payouts add a PayPal email or bank details. Payouts go only to an account in your own legal name.Add a tax form when asked
Once you receive more than $600 in a year we ask for a W-9 (U.S. people) or W-8BEN (everyone else). It takes two minutes.Verify your identity for larger amounts
Once your payouts add up to more than $1,000 we ask you to verify a passport, driver licence or national ID. Money keeps collecting while you do this.

PayPal and bank transfer
- PayPal works in most countries. Use the email of a PayPal account in your own name. PayPal may charge a fee to receive or convert money.
- Bank transfer covers everywhere else. Give your account holder name, bank name, IBAN or account number, and SWIFT/BIC if outside the U.S. International banks may take out a transfer fee.
- You can change your method at any time before a payout is prepared.
Safety checks
They protect donors, and they protect you.
- Payouts go only to an account that matches your legal name.
- The same PayPal or bank account cannot be used by two different people.
- We hold a payout for review if something unusual happens, like many gifts in minutes, gifts from your own network, or a card flagged as high risk. Most reviews take a day or two.
- We cannot pay people in countries subject to international sanctions. See the list.
- If a gift is disputed with a card issuer, the amount is held.
What can delay a payout
- Missing payout details, tax form, or identity verification. We email you and show a checklist in your dashboard.
- A review flag on your account or a gift.
- Wrong PayPal or bank details. Please double check them.
- A balance below the minimum. It rolls over until it reaches the minimum.
Questions
Can I get paid sooner?
Payouts run weekly. The safety window cannot be skipped, but ID verification shortens it.
Why did my payout not arrive on Sunday?
Check your dashboard under Tax & payout for a missing step. If everything is complete and you still have not received it after a few days, email support@helpbless.com.
Is there a fee to be paid out?
HelpBLESS does not charge a payout fee. The platform fee and processing fee are taken from each gift before payout. Your bank or PayPal may charge their own fees.
Can someone else collect the money for me?
No. Payouts are sent only to an account in the legal name of the person who received the gift.
