My son, Murat, is 15 and in Year 10. Murat loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The national exam is in December. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Istanbul or online, for about twelve weeks. Murat is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Murat's year. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Good luck, Kerem. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. God bless.

    • good luck with the exams, you've got this. Wish I lived closer to Dar es Salaam so I could bring a meal. All the best.

Hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 7 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Bakersfield.

        • Rooting for you, Kerem. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
