Surgery fund for Elena: cataract surgery in San Diego
Elena needs cataract surgery at San Diego General Hospital and the family is $7,400 short of the hospital's estimate.

Elena was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in March. The surgeon at San Diego General Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and She is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $14,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $7,400 short.
my daughter has been in and out of San Diego General Hospital since March. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $14,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Elena struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Elena won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $7,400 goes:
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $3,250
• Travel and lodging for the family: $210
• Post-operative medication: $290
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $3,250
• Physiotherapy sessions: $400
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Take care, Antonio. Looking forward to the next update. It's not much but it's yours.
shared this with my family. After 25 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of San Diego
Good luck, Antonio. Hope you get there. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings.
