40 volunteers for the Refugee Welcome Picnic in Pokhara
Give a few hours to the Refugee Welcome Picnic - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.

Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 409 neighbors in Pokhara. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Sydney donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Pokhara.
Stay strong. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Rooting for you, Durga. More neighborhoods should do this. Please keep us posted.
So sorry you're going through this, Durga. Great idea, hope you get there. We're a small family in Saint-Denis but we're thinking of you.
Take care, Durga. Great idea, hope you get there. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
