Viola passed away on 2 September; we're raising $3,250 for a respectful funeral in Rome.

Viola, my sister, passed away on 2 September after a stroke. She was 68 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 20 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Viola to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $800
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,050
• Transport of the deceased: $400
