Hyun-woo was diagnosed with cervical cancer in July. The oncology team at Gangnam Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Hyun-woo is 53, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Gangnam Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,450 goes: • Transport to Gangnam Cancer Centre: $540 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $240 • Scans and lab work: $670 Thanks for reading all this.
