A weekly ride to the Bristol Dialysis Unit for Liliana
A rota of drivers to the Bristol Dialysis Unit would keep Liliana on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇬🇧 Bristol, England, United Kingdom314 views
Liliana has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Bristol Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Liliana can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 26 km each way.
Liliana is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
