Tuition fund for John: an electrical engineering diploma at Detroit Community College
A first-generation student, John needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an electrical engineering diploma.

John is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Detroit Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,450.
The registrar has said John can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. John has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term John would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
John isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Detroit Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
