School supplies and a laptop for Ruth in Geelong
Ruth won a place at the Geelong Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇦🇺 Australia2,428 views
Ruth earned a place in Year 10 at the Geelong Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $1,000, which is more than they have.
Ruth loves coding and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $270
• School uniform and shoes: $145
• Laptop: $585
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
