Help Leonardo keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Leonardo runs a volunteer pantry feeding 202 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Monday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 202 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 40% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Juazeiro do Norte market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $850 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $500
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $230
• Baby formula and diapers: $75
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
Thanks for reading all this.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Juazeiro do Norte.
I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out.
hope it all works out, Leonardo. More neighborhoods should do this. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from A Coruña
Hope things get better soon, Leonardo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Juazeiro do Norte.
