Help Georgia move out of an unsafe apartment this Monday
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Athens.
🇬🇷 Athens, Attica, Greece1,278 views
After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Athens, and the lease starts on Monday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you peace, Georgia. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Vancouver.
Good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
Good luck. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Athens.
Good luck. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Wish I lived closer to Saket so I could bring a meal.
Sending love, Georgia. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Gliwice.
