Independence for Folake: stair-climbing aid
A stair-climbing aid would give Folake independence - we're $100 away.

I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at Asaba General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $60
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $5
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

So sorry you're going through this. Your post was clear and honest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Folake!
Sure. The biggest one is first-year servicing plan, $60. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Let me know if you want more detail.
Hope you get there. Love from Birmingham.
Shared it with a few friends. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro.
Hope this works out for you. After 13 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
