Independence for Vivian: pair of hearing aids
A pair of hearing aids would give Vivian independence - we're $100 away.

I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at the Gwagwalada Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $35
Glad we found this place.

praying for you, Vivian. Your post was clear and honest. Take care.
Thinking of you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Santos.
Thinking of you. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
