The the Second Helping pantry in Toulouse is running low just as demand rises; $3,050 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Monday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 128 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 59% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Toulouse market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,600
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $740
• Baby formula and diapers: $560
• Refrigeration and electricity: $150
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
