Save Archie: Sophie can't afford the emergency vet
Archie, Sophie's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $1,650.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom256 views
Archie is my rabbit of nine years. On 23 September we rushed to Swansea Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,650.
They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Archie is more than a pet - Archie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $200 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Swansea Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Archie's recovery.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,300
• Medication and follow-up visits: $210
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $140
Thanks for being kind about this.
