Friendly visitor needed for a 79-year-old neighbor in San Antonio
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Denise is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Denise, who's 79. Denise lives alone in San Antonio, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Denise loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thank you so much.

Praying for you, Santiago. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Thanks for sharing this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
So sorry you're going through this, Santiago. Hope this works out for you.
Take care, Santiago. Hope the doctors have good news. It's not much but it's yours.
