Fernanda's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After osteoarthritis in the right knee, Fernanda was cleared for knee replacement surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Fernanda was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in August. The surgeon at Brasília General Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $750, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $450 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Brasília General Hospital since August. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Fernanda struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Fernanda won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $450 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $90
• Physiotherapy sessions: $220
• Travel and lodging for the family: $60
• Post-operative medication: $80
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Keep going, Sônia. Get well soon. Take care.
Good luck, Sônia. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings
