Feed 211 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Faisalabad

The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Faisalabad is running low just as demand rises; $350 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 211 each week. Donations have dropped by about 57% this summer, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Faisalabad market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $350 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $170 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85 • Baby formula and diapers: $35 • Refrigeration and electricity: $60 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
