Saying goodbye to Marilyn - help with funeral expenses
Marilyn passed away on 31 August; we are raising $3,900 for a respectful funeral in Sacramento.

Marilyn, my mother, passed away on 31 August after a sudden heart attack. She was 59 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,900 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Marilyn to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $3,900 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,850
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,600
• Transport of the deceased: $145
• Memorial gathering for the family: $305
