A community-led a skate park at Maple Primary School that will serve 177 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,150.
It will serve about 177 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Materials: $960
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $80
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
