Back to business - Elias's comeback in Södertälje
Elias has run a sewing studio for six years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $3,800 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a sewing studio in Södertälje. In July, a long illness and repossession took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $2,450
• Initial stock: fabric: $480
• Shop repairs and licensing: $280
• Working capital for the first month: $590
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending love. Shared it with a few friends. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
Praying for you. Small businesses are the heart of Södertälje. Hope you're open again soon. Thinking of Södertälje.
