Maple is my German shepherd of three years. On 22 March we rushed to Guarulhos Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond June. Maple is more than a pet - Maple is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $85 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Guarulhos Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $400 goes: • Emergency surgery: $230 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $70 • Medication and follow-up visits: $100 I hope life is good to you. - Priscila
