Mobility fund: powered wheelchair for Michelle in Peoria
Help Michelle get a powered wheelchair so She can go to school independently.
🇺🇸 Peoria, Illinois, United States688 views
Michelle lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Peoria Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $8,450.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Michelle could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $8,450 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $300
• powered wheelchair: $8,000
• Delivery and set-up: $150
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Praying for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
