The Baobab health centre yard needs a community fridge - Tharun's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Pune are raising $600 for a community fridge at the Baobab health centre yard.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 460 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $460
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
Thank you so much.
