I've been a nurse for 26 years, most of them in rehabilitation at Crown Regional Medical Center in Kasarani. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
