Winter coats and boots for 39 children at the Union Community Church in Sapporo
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Union Community Church.

I coordinate donations at the Union Community Church in Sapporo. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Sapporo, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Community Church on Monday between 11am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
hang in there, Noboru. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
