Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 368 each week. Donations have dropped by about 37% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Gold Coast market and keep every receipt. Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $3,850 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,950 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,250 • Baby formula and diapers: $290 • Refrigeration and electricity: $360 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Zoe

  • stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Tiruchirappalli.

    • sending strength. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care
