The Sycamore health centre yard needs a covered market stall space - Diya's neighborhood project

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 80 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $450 goes: • Materials: $320 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $25 • Tools hire and delivery: $80 If you're reading this, thank you. - Diya
