Audrey needs a cold-storage unit to reopen a small grocery stall
Audrey has run a small grocery stall for six years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $1,600 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a small grocery stall in Coventry. In August, the demolition of the market took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $310
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $720
• Shop repairs and licensing: $570
Thank you for reading my story.

sending strength, Audrey. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
wishing you the best. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Hang in there, Audrey. Hope the shop reopens soon!
It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope November is when things finally get easier. God bless.
