I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at Nashik State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $350. The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility. I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Nashik State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $350 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Final term tuition: $170 • Outstanding tuition balance: $165 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you, Varsha. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.

      • Stay strong, Varsha. Hope this works out for you. After 28 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
