Volunteer day: Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive, Birmingham
Give a few hours to the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom1,050 views
Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 530 neighbors in Birmingham. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 3-hour shift
- format
- In person in Birmingham
- skills
- friendly attitude, willingness to help

Sending strength, Aaron. Shared this with my family.
Keep going, Aaron. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Birmingham.
Wishing you peace, Aaron. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Houston so I could bring a meal. God bless.
