Friendly visitor needed for a 76-year-old neighbor in Lagos

Ifeanyi lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Ifeanyi, who's 76. Ifeanyi lives alone in Lagos, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 732 kilometers away. Ifeanyi loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. I hope life is good to you.
