Friendly visitor needed for an 83-year-old neighbor in Toronto

I'm writing for my neighbor Élodie, who's 83. Élodie lives alone in Toronto, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Élodie loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
