Friendly visitor needed for a 94-year-old neighbor in Osaka

I'm writing for my neighbor Tomoya, who's 94. Tomoya lives alone in Osaka, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives several hours away. Tomoya loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
