Standing with Alexandra: Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs
Alexandra is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Alexandra was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in April. The oncology team at Springfield Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Alexandra is 57, worked as a bakery worker until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Springfield Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Transport to Springfield Regional Medical Center: $910
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $290
