Silas needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in San Diego
Without my taxi Silas can't work; a $450 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 8 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $450 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $110
• Labor charges: $160
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $180
Thank you so much.

Sending love, Silas. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Colorado Springs so I could bring a meal. God bless

Thinking of you. Shared it with a few friends. After 8 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Good luck, Silas. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of San Diego.
