A spare room for 2 months: Queen, working in Lagos, between homes
After my landlord selling the building, Queen needs a safe, quiet room in Lagos for 2 months while getting back on their feet.

After my landlord selling the building, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a care assistant in Lagos and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 2 months. I can pay $55 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have a landlord and employer references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Thank you so much.

You're not alone, Queen. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Thanks for sharing this, Queen. Hope this works out for you.
Sending strength, Queen. I hope things turn around soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Lagos
Praying for you, Queen. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I hope July is when things finally get easier. Blessings.
Hope this works out for you. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
our local city council office has an emergency fund, might be worth asking them
