Save Simba: Naresh can't afford the emergency vet
Simba, Naresh's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a tumor on the spleen costing $400.

Simba is my German shepherd of nine years. On 13 February we rushed to Mumbai Animal Hospital with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Simba is more than a pet - Simba is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $60 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Mumbai Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $60
• Medication and follow-up visits: $20
• Emergency surgery: $320

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Mumbai.
