Shakil was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at the Cox's Bazar Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Shakil is 27, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Cox's Bazar Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $400 goes: • Scans and lab work: $140 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $50 • Household costs while unable to work: $210 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Shima
