Save Coco: Oky can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Coco needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $300 bill the family can't cover.
🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia1,323 views
Coco is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 10 May we rushed to the Jakarta Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Coco is more than a pet - Coco is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Jakarta Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $300 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $80
• Emergency surgery: $180
Glad we found this place.
