Care for Hudson, 90: help cover a carer and medication in Columbus
Hudson, 90, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,400 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 90. After the death of his spouse Hudson can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Hudson desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Hudson worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,400 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $3,750
• Medication and prescriptions: $550
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $460
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $640
