Get Lorena back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Lorena drives for a living in A Coruña, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 8 weeks.
🇪🇸 A Coruña, Galicia, Spain1,758 views
I make my living with my ride-share car. 8 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $570
• Labor charges: $220
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $150
• Towing and inspection: $110
Thank you so much.

Keep going. Small businesses are the heart of A Coruña. Hope you're open again soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Thinking of you, Lorena. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Thinking of A Coruña.
