Kidus needs display cabinets and a cooler to reopen a flower stall
Kidus has run a flower stall for nine years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $350 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a flower stall in Addis Ababa. In September, the demolition of the market took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $165
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $60
• Shop repairs and licensing: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $55
Thanks for reading all this.

thinking of you, Kidus. Looking forward to the next update. We're a small family in Los Angeles but we're thinking of you
Hope it all works out, Kidus. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care
Wishing you peace, Kidus. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best
Good luck. Small businesses are the heart of Addis Ababa. Hope you're open again soon. Thinking of Addis Ababa.
Shared this with my family. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from San Jose.
