Without my ride-share car Patrick can't work; a $1,950 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $1,950 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,450 • Labor charges: $230 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $140 • Towing and inspection: $130 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Patrick

  • Good luck, Patrick. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings

    • You're not alone. Small businesses are the heart of London. Hope you're open again soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
