Miguel was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at San Nicolás de los Garza Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Miguel is 25, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Nicolás de los Garza Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,750 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $960 • Household costs while unable to work: $360 • Transport to San Nicolás de los Garza Cancer Centre: $230 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $200 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Camila
