Heating shut-off notice: help Riaan pay $200
Help Riaan cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The heating account is 3 months behind. Riaan received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on February unless $200 is paid. He had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Riaan called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Riaan is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Down payment on a payment plan: $80
