Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Hridoy's family in London
A long illness left Hridoy short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

When the warehouse closed in May, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Monday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,550.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $3,550 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $950
• Utilities in arrears: $185
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,415
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Hridoy.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. first month of rent as a buffer comes first ($950) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
Stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Cape Town donated after I showed her your page. God bless
Hang in there, Hridoy. Your post was clear and honest
