Michelle has worked and saved for five years to study an electrical engineering diploma; a $6,550 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Michelle is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at the Reading Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $6,550.
The registrar has said Michelle can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Michelle has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Michelle would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Michelle isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Reading Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Exam and lab fees: $290
• Textbooks and materials: $210
