Jalandhar
Vihaan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Jalandhar Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Vihaan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Vihaan has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Vihaan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Vihaan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Jalandhar Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $450 • Textbooks and materials: $20 • Final term tuition: $180 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Neelam

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Vihaan!

          • Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. outstanding tuition balance comes first ($450) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.

        • Hope it all works out, Neelam. Study hard! Take care.

          • Thinking of you. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it

            • Stay strong, Neelam. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless.
